Plain-language terms for booking a detail through proudcardetailing.ca.
Who does what
Proud Canadian Car Detailing ("Proud Canadian", "we") takes your booking and handles your payment. The detailing is done by an independent, insured partner shop in your area. We text you the shop's address when you book.
Prices
- Sedan / Coupe — $250 + HST
- SUV / Crossover — $300 + HST
- Truck / Van / 7-Seater — $350 + HST
- Add exterior (hand wash + tire shine) — +$50 + HST
Prices are fixed, plus 13% HST. The total you see when you book (with HST) is what you pay — nothing extra at the shop. If your car needs more than a standard detail (for example heavy pet hair, mould or a biohazard clean-up), we message you before any extra work starts, and nothing extra is charged without your OK.
Payment
You pay the booking total, plus 13% HST, online when you book. Our HST number is 734958630 RT0001. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Drop-off
Drop off during the shop's hours, at the time you picked. Bookings are for drop-offs within the next 7 days. Please take valuables out of the car before you drop it off.
Rescheduling, cancelling and no-shows
Bookings are non-refundable. You can reschedule any time, at no charge, by texting or calling us. If you miss your drop-off, your booking stays valid and you just pick a new time. The only refunds are under our guarantee below. You agree to this at checkout.
Our guarantee
Insurance and damage
Every partner shop is insured, including coverage for your car while it's in their care. If you notice any damage, tell the shop before you leave or tell us within 24 hours, and we'll work it out with the shop and its insurer.
Timing
A full interior detail takes about 2 hours on average. Cars dropped off during shop hours are done the same day, and we text you when yours is ready.
